In Spring 2016 we worked in residency at Shawlands Academy with with 10 S1 and S2 students who use English as a Second Language. Together we made ‘There and Here’ a short film exploring the places they had all started from and the shared experience of living now in the south side of Glasgow.
We held a launch of the film for an audience of friends, family and teachers at Shawlands Academy and served food from all the cultures represented in the group – Romanian, Slovakian, Indian and Italian.
